What is your lead time / production time?
Standard lead time is 7-15 business days from order confirmation and deposit receipt. For orders above 3,000 sqm or those requiring special custom formulations (e.g., custom flame-retardant grades), lead time may extend to 20-25 days. We will provide an exact delivery date in your proforma invoice.
Do you offer free samples before ordering?
Yes. We provide free material samples (10x10cm swatches and 30x30cm specimen sheets) to qualified B2B buyers. Express shipping cost is shared 50/50 — and your shipping portion is fully refundable when you place a bulk order. Visit our Sample Service page to request yours.
Customization & Specifications
Can you produce tarpaulin in custom sizes?
Absolutely. Custom sizing is our core service. We cut every order to your exact dimensions — there are no "standard sizes" you must choose from. Maximum single-panel width is 3.2m (seamless). For wider covers, panels are HF-welded together. Length is virtually unlimited.
What weight (GSM) and thickness options are available?
We manufacture PVC tarpaulin from 450 to 900 g/m2 (0.4mm to 0.8mm thickness). Light-duty applications (pool covers, temporary covers) typically use 450-550 GSM. Standard truck and agricultural tarps use 650-750 GSM. Heavy-duty and flame-retardant grades use 750-900 GSM. We can produce any GSM within this range on request.
What colors are available?
Standard colors include blue, dark blue, green, black, grey, white, orange, and red. We can also produce custom colors to match your Pantone reference (minimum order applies for custom colors). Both glossy and matte surface finishes are available.
Can you add D-rings, grommets, or other hardware?
Yes. We attach stainless steel or galvanized D-rings, aluminum grommets, edge ropes, and buckle straps based on your specifications. Reinforcement patches are HF-welded at all hardware attachment points. Let us know your hardware requirements and we'll include them in the quote.
Shipping & Payment Terms
What are your payment terms?
Standard terms: 30% T/T deposit with order confirmation, 70% balance before shipment (upon copy of Bill of Lading). For established customers with repeat orders, we can discuss L/C at sight or other flexible terms. PayPal is accepted for sample shipping fees only.
How do you ship the tarpaulin?
We ship FCL (Full Container Load) and LCL (Less than Container Load) via sea freight to any global port. FOB Shanghai or CIF your port — your choice. For urgent samples, we use DHL/FedEx express (3-7 days). Air freight is available for time-sensitive bulk orders but is significantly more expensive.
Do you provide FOB or CIF pricing?
Both. We can quote FOB Shanghai (you arrange shipping) or CIF your destination port (we arrange shipping and insurance). We also offer DAP/DDP for certain destinations. Tell us your preferred Incoterms and we'll structure the quote accordingly.
How is the tarpaulin packaged for export?
Tarpaulin is folded, placed in PP woven bags, and stacked on wooden pallets with shrink-wrap. Each package is labeled with product name, specs, quantity, and order number. Palletized packaging ensures easy forklift handling and protects against moisture during transit.
Quality & Certification
Do you use virgin PVC or recycled material?
100% virgin PVC compound only. We never use recycled or reground PVC material. This is a non-negotiable quality standard at our factory. Virgin PVC ensures consistent waterproofing, UV stability, and long-term durability — recycled material degrades rapidly under outdoor exposure.
What certifications do your products carry?
Our products carry SGS test reports, ISO 9001, RoHS, REACH, CE marking, and for flame-retardant grades: EN 13501-1 (European fire classification) and NFPA 701 (US fire standard). Test reports are provided with every shipment. Third-party SGS inspection can be arranged at the buyer's request and expense.
How long will your tarpaulin last outdoors?
Under normal outdoor conditions, our standard PVC tarpaulin has an expected service life of 5-8 years. Heavy-duty grades (750+ GSM) with UV stabilizers can last 8-10+ years. Actual lifespan depends on climate, UV exposure, mechanical stress, and maintenance. Flame-retardant grades maintain fire resistance for the full product life.
Do you provide quality test reports with shipments?
Yes. Every shipment includes a batch quality test report covering tensile strength, tear resistance, weight (GSM), thickness, and (for FR grades) flame retardancy results. Reports are issued by our in-house QC laboratory. Third-party SGS or Intertek testing can be arranged on request.
OEM Service
Can you print our logo or brand on the tarpaulin?
Yes. We offer silk-screen printing and digital printing on tarpaulin surfaces. Logos, brand names, contact information, and custom graphics can be printed in single or multi-color. For repeat OEM orders, we can also produce custom packaging with your branding.
Can you manufacture to our proprietary specifications?
Absolutely. Many of our OEM clients provide proprietary spec sheets — including custom PVC formulations, specific tensile/tear targets, unique color codes, and special hardware configurations. Our R&D team will work with you to develop and validate the formulation before mass production.
Do you sign NDAs / confidentiality agreements?
Yes. We routinely sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with OEM clients. Your proprietary formulations, designs, and specifications are treated as confidential. We do not share your product designs or pricing with other buyers. Your OEM products will not appear in our catalog or website.
What is the warranty on your tarpaulin?
We offer a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects (seam failure, coating delamination, material inconsistency). This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, improper installation, extreme weather events, or normal wear and tear. Warranty claims are evaluated case-by-case with photo evidence.
